Dr. Johnny Fearon

BDS MDent Sc(Rest), MDent Ch (Pros), P Grad Dip (SEDS), MFDS RCS (Edin)
Dr Johnny Fearon is the Clinical Director.  He is a specialist trained Prosthodontist and a Dental Sedationist. A ‘prosthodontist’ is a dentist who has undergone a recognised training programme in:

• advanced crown, veneer and bridge work
• implant dentistry
• removable dentures
• aesthetic dentistry

Dr Fearon has spent a considerable part of his career in specialist training.  Having qualified with a BDS from The University of Manchester in 1993, Dr Fearon completed a 2-year full time Masters program in Leeds University, qualifying with a Masters in restorative dentistry.  During his 2-year program he majored in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment).  He then went on to undertake a 3-year, full-time programme in Trinity College Dublin.  He now specialises in Prosthetic and Implant dentistry.  He is also a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

 In 2009, Dr Fearon completed an 18-month post-graduate diploma in Dental Sedation at Trinity College Dublin, and is an accredited Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider.  A ‘sedationist’ is a dentist who has undergone a recognised training programme in the administration of drugs which sedate anxious patients, or patients undergoing major dental treatment.  Dr. Fearon is a member of the Irish Dental Association, Prosthodontic Society of Ireland and in 2013, he was honoured as a Fellow of the International College of Dentistry

Dr Sinead Webb

Clinical Dentist
Dr Sinead Webb graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 1995. Following graduation, Sinead spent 9 years working in family dental practices in the UK, including running her own successful general dental practice. On returning to Ireland in 2004, Sinead worked in a general dental practice in Clane, Co. Kildare and went on to join the HSE Dental Department in Naas Hospital. Sinead gained considerable experience with children, adults with special needs and anxious/nervous patients. Sinead has devoted a considerable amount of her career to continuing her professional dental education. 

In 2011 Sinead was awarded a distinction in Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation from Trinity College Dublin and has helped many patients overcome their dental anxiety with the help of various types of dental sedation. Sinead is currently completing her studies for Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Trinity College Dublin. Sinead is a clinical supervisor in Dublin Dental University Hospital and is committed to maintaining the highest professional standards of modern dentistry for all the family in a caring and friendly environment.

Dr. Mishaim Mian

Clinical Dentist
Dr. Mishaim Mian is a Cork native who graduated from University College Cork with an Honours degree in Dentistry. She is trained in all aspects of dentistry and aims to improve patients confidence in their smiles. Mishaim was also awarded membership of the royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh. 

During her time at UCC, Mishaim travelled to Nepal in 2018, volunteering as part of a dental outreach trip, providing preventive and emergency oral care to the residents of a rural village on the outskirts of Kathmandu. With the joint efforts of her team, 1200+ patients were treated over 6 days. 

Mishaim keeps up to date with continuous new developments in the field of dentistry by attending conferences, webinars and hands-on courses.

Charlene Reardon

Dental Hygienist
Charlene qualified with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Trinity College as well as a certificate in Intra-Oral and Panoramic Dental Radiography from UCD in 2005.  In 2009, Charlene went on to achieve a certificate in Temporary Dressing Application and Refitting of Crowns, a certificate in Administration of Block Anaesthesia and a specialist certificate in Oral Health Promotion. Her CPR is up to date.

Charlene has built up extensive experience over the years particularly with Periodontal issues which she has worked with since her qualification.  In addition, she is experienced with Prosthodontic patients and all general dentistry issues.  She is without doubt a valuable addition to the Ashgrove Dental Clinic team.

Mary Konstanyan

Dental Hygienist
Mary graduated with a first-class honour in Dental Hygiene from Cork University Dental School & Hospital (UCC) and holds a primary qualification from Trinity Dublin College. 

Mary takes pride in her expertise in dealing with nervous patients ensuring the treatment is stress free.

Mary’s field of expertise is dealing with gums and gum diseases. She is extremely passionate about oral hygiene and prevention of gum disease. She is trained in all aspects of dental care including scaling and polish, carrying out non-surgical periodontal treatment, applying fissure sealants and promoting good oral health. Mary is committed to delivering a high standard of care to all of her patients. She is extremely passionate about non-surgical periodontal treatments along with motivating her patients to stay committed to their tailored oral hygiene at home. She takes her time with every patient to educate them regarding their own oral hygiene needs to maintain healthy gums. She aims to provide her patients with the best knowledge of oral and gum health to achieve the best results. She aims to build a long-lasting relationship with her patients by providing them with a comfortable experience.
 
In her spare time Mary enjoys the gym and cooking up a storm in the kitchen!
