What is a cosmetic dental treatment?
A cosmetic treatment is used to improve the aesthetics of natural teeth.
Composite Restorations
A “composite” is a tooth coloured restoration used to restore cavities or chipped teeth. Dr Fearon travelled to Milan to study advanced composite techniques under the tutelage of the world-renowned Dr Lorenzo Vannini.
When a tooth to be restored is in the “aesthetic zone”, i.e. whenever a tooth is visible in the smile, or near the front of your mouth, we utilise tooth-coloured restorations that give you a natural smile.
Tooth coloured materials are more biocompatible than metal amalgam fillings and offer a far more robust finish. Our tooth-coloured restorations are composed of high strength, optimum quality composite materials, in a large variety of shades to maximise aesthetics.
